With 64 years of making genuine Chicago style pizza, Mr. Gilberti has a passion for his restaurants standard and reputation. Beginning his career at a young age at his families pizzeria in northern Chicago, Wayne Gilberti has grown to know the secrets of making a perfect, authentic pizza. After moving to Branson in the nineties, Wayne and Susan, decided the community of Branson needed something original. So they started the original pizza place in downtown Branson. After many years of love and hard work they decided to sell and move in. They took off to Gulf Shores, Alabama. 

After getting hit by a hurricane they decided to move back to the great city of Hollister! Mr. Gilberti knowing how great the people in this area are, knew he needed to bring back the infamous Chicago style pizza. So he started Mr. Gilberti`s Place on Acacia Club. He’s been making the best kept secret for in the Ozarks for decades! In August Mr. Gilberti and his wife Susan decided it was time to pass on their legacy. They sold to a wonderful young couple who has kept everything exactly the same as to continue the legacy. They’ve spent and continue to spend quality time teaching Haley & James all of the secret family recipes. They continues to serve the same high quality food and service that everyone has come to love at Mr. Gilberti Place. They likes to say, “Everythings the same. You just get to see my bright and shining face from now on.” Mr. & Mrs. Gilberti are enjoying their retire and are happy their legacy continues to be a success.
